LATERAL FLOW TESTING

Since 2020 Covid is still affecting thousands of people on a daily basis.

Therefore i encourage all my clients to the best of their ability to complete a home testing Lateral Flow Test 

Also Known AS an LFT.

by doing so will of course allow all my clients to detect if they are salon safe and covid free, and this also encourages good practice for the safety of others, by which i mean...

Other Clientele, The Beautician, And any family that reside within the home run Business.

I know they are not easy to get hold of sometimes. but i very much appreciated that you try your best. this not only protects you and me but of course the many other clientele that walks through my door on a daily

I Equally realise they are not cheap however £2 a test is a small price to pay for something that can be so deadly.

Getting covid is awful and the risk of my family members, my clients, and innocent people like yourself being at risk is such a responsibility for me So it is very important we all play a big part in keeping ourselves monitored regular and for the safety of others Even though many of us may have recently had covid, or maybe even fully, double, or triple, vaccinated, we may also feel perfectly fine within ourselves, but carrying covid is not something we can see unless tested.

So LFT are a requirement in my salon 

WHAT IF YOU HAVE HAD YOUR JAB

Many do not understand that we can of course still be carrying covid even with all the preventions in place and even when we feel ok. In turn this can still be detected on a test and passed on 

So to prevent someone who is vulnerable or who can become extremely unwell with it. It’s important an LFT is taken by Us all you and myself included to prove we are not carrying Covid into my home. 

Although by doing so I realise this may not still be a 100% accurate result. 

But Its a prevention, and a prevention that is taken seriously here at Sun by sienna.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE PUBLIC

As we all know it's not a nice infection and can really affect someone badly who is reasonably healthy, so imagine the impact it could have on someone who may be vulnerable. This can be deadly. Sadly, But this is the larger picture that we all quickly forget, because so much time has passed. But I owe it to myself and my children to be safe.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE BUSINESS

For sun by sienna Getting covid myself or having a client report they have covid after treatments have been done ultimately closes my business for approx. 14 days or more which in turn can be extremely detrimental financially. 

As well as serious to the family and other clients

So as your beautician i want you to feel rest assured that not only  I take a test every 2 Days at home as do all my family. And when I am very busy I do them daily.

As do all my clients, and i equally wear a mask if i am feeling unwell too 

I feel confident that by testing and being super cautious will make it a covid free environment to the best of our ability.

I take covid and the risk of it being spread very seriously within my home. 

a simple test from any public friend or family testing is still required.

Lateral flow testing at sun by sienna will remain until covid has completely dissipated and no longer a huge threat.

IMPOPRTANT RULES

TO CONSIDER

Depending on the nature of your treatment and length of time at the salon

I may refuse a treatment without a test being done.

Masks are required for entry and walking through the home and most treatments if you are feeling unwell or have signs or symptoms

Aggressive Behaviour against me physically or verbally will not be tolerated by anyone who thinks my rules are unacceptable.

I have the right to refuse anyone who does not comply.

however please remember I am not forcing anyone to test!

I am of course asking for safety reasons.

But I think it’s fair to say that it’s the most sensible thing to do.

By Refusing LFT Testing, can equally result in me refusing to book a treatment or complete a treatment also.

Therefore it s important you understand the LFT rules prior to booking and read any cancelation policy also.

if a LFT is refused within 24hr of your treatment you will of course loose your booking and any fees paid. NO refund as stated in T&C

like all homeowners, or businesses owners, i have Rules.

Those rules are both within my business and within my Home.  

Trying your best to stick to them is all I ASK from you.

They can be found at most chemists

HOW TO DO YOUR TEST

1. PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION PER TEST USUALLY LEAVING 30MINS FOR AN ACCURATE RESULT

2. Once LFT is done please write your name and that days date onto a piece of paper and place your test next to it 

3. Then take a picture.

This picture must be sent to me before you arrive for your treatment.

4. Please allow 1 - 4hrs for your test to reach its full potential.
